Benefits of Joining As a relatively new industry for many in Australia, growers appreciate the opportunity to participate in training on topics as diverse as pest management, irrigation and sensory training. The Fleurieu Peninsula Olive Association has a regular ongoing training calendar that taps into the resources of Olives SA, Primary Industry of SA and other experts within the region. Members of the Association also benefit by accessing the pooled resources, knowledge and experience of other members, who are working through the logistics of growing, harvesting, processing and marketing their olive product. Members are also kept up to date about developments outside the association to sell premium olive products from the region for the benefit of members.
